“When the angels left them and went back to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, ‘Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has taken place, that the Lord has made known to us’” (Lk. 2:15 NET).
The night that Jesus was born, a host of angels brought the good news to a group of shepherds tending their flocks. As soon as they got the message, they said “let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has taken place.” They went in search of Jesus.
Wise men from the east also came to Jerusalem to seek the newborn Savior King. These men were considered wise according to worldly standards, and they went in search of the Savior. Let us join the wise men and the shepherds on their trip to Bethlehem to seek the Savior. Today, you no longer need to go to the physical Bethlehem to see the Savior. He is now wherever you are currently located! You can seek Him in the Word and in prayer. Wise men seek Jesus!

The wise men went to Bethlehem to seek Jesus. How does this apply to you today?

Ask the Spirit to help you become wise in the decisions you make every day.
ACT ON THE WORD!
The wise men got information and acted upon it. They went to Bethlehem. What would you do with what you have read today? Would you seek Jesus? Take a step closer to Him today.
