Levels of Glory

Our lives are designed to move from one level of glory to another.

God has called us to partake of His glory in Christ Jesus. When we were born again, we were immersed in the nature of God in Christ, and Christ is the glory of God (Heb. 1:2-3.) We were born into the glory of God the moment we accepted Jesus as our Savior.

Every believer, therefore, is shining with the light of God’s glory, just as the stars of heaven. The Lord expects us now, on the earth, to increase in glory progressively until our light becomes full blown, fully Christ on the earth. We are all at a particular level of glory in our spiritual lives as indicated in the scripture above. The last part states that “one star differs from another star in glory.”

The degree of glory you are living in right now is defined by how Christlike your life is. Remember that  Christ is the glory of God. Our personal experience of the life of Christ and the expression of His Person through us define our level of glory. Your calling to glory includes both your experience of the divine nature and your expression of that nature.

For example, God is never broke, sick, depressed, etc. Instead, in His presence there is the fullness of joy. Your call to glory is to share and enjoy the very life that God is living right now. As you do this you become an expression of His Person, as the light that is shining on the earth right now!

Let the glory of God in your life continue to increase, brighter and brighter each day. (Prov. 4:18)
