Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee (Isa. 60:5 KJV)
The forces of the gentiles are the wealth of the nations!
Isaiah 60 is a prophetic message that was spoken by the prophet Isaiah to the nation of Israel, but those words fully apply to the believers in Christ. He started with the phrase “Arise, shine,” which is certainly God’s message to His Church. However, in verse 5, the Lord tells us of an interesting event that will take place in the future. He says the “forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.” What are these “forces of the Gentiles?”.
The ESV translation is plain enough for us to understand. It says “the wealth of the nations shall come to you”! What the KJV calls “forces of the Gentiles” is undoubtedly referring to the wealth, riches and abundance of the nations which will be brought to the place of the Lord’s dwelling. In fact, the Lord repeats it in verse 11 and 13( Isa. 60:7,13).
What a prophetic word! Even more exciting is the reality that these are the days of the fulfillment of that word. God will bring the wealth that nations have worked for and gathered to beautify the place of His dwelling. If you have ever heard preachers talk about “wealth transfer,” here it is in scripture! It is God’s design and working. No manipulations needed. No fighting or force required. It is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes!
MEDITATE
Can you think about the ways God might do this from what He has done before? How did God enrich Israel before they left Egypt after 400 years of slavery? ( Exo. 12:36). Declare that the forces of the Gentiles are coming to me to beautify the House of the Lord!
APPLY THE WORD
If only you knew what heaven is planning for your life! Please do not think I am talking about spiritual riches here. No! That verse above is not referring to spiritual but natural riches and wealth! Get ready, child of God, for the glory of God is here, and it will shine in our finances! Be prepared to handle millions or billions of dollars and still be righteous, holy, faithful and walking by the Spirit!
